What Kinally is
A shared household view for families with children
Kinally is a family app that keeps the calendar, the tasks and the shopping list in one place. It answers the two questions everyday family life tends to break on: what is happening today, and who is going to handle it.
Who it is for
Households where at least two adults share the running of the week — parents, grandparents, a childminder. Handing information between them is exactly where it gets lost who is driving and who is collecting. Kinally gives everyone the same version of the plan, wherever they are.
What it actually solves
A family calendar where every event records who takes the child and who collects them, travel time included. Tasks with a name and a date instead of a vague someone will do it. A shared shopping list the person standing in the shop can see. And repeating clubs you write down once.
How the assistant works
You write in an ordinary sentence what has come up — that training starts on Thursday, say. The assistant turns it into a draft event. It never writes anything by itself: you confirm every proposal. No calendar change, no invitation and no message happens without your tap.
How privacy works
Each household's data is separated at the database level and only its members can read it. A personal event can be shared as busy time alone, with no title and no location. Analytics is switched on only after you agree to it, and no personal data goes into it — no children's names, no event titles.

What is Kinally?

How many people can be in one household?
There is no limit on members. Alongside the parents you can add profiles for children and invite a helper, typically a grandparent or a childminder.
Does Kinally work on a phone?
Yes, it is designed for the phone first and opens in an ordinary browser. You can add it to your home screen like an app.
Will the assistant write to my calendar on its own?
No. The assistant prepares a proposal and waits for your confirmation. Nothing is saved, sent or changed without it.
Can the others see my personal events?
Only if you want them to. For every event you choose whether the family sees it in full, as busy time only, or not at all.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. We will export and delete your data on request, including leaving a household.
