You write in an ordinary sentence what has come up. The assistant turns it into a draft event and waits for you to confirm it.
What it is for
Entering an event by hand means filling in several fields. It is quicker to write that training starts at five on Thursday and let the assistant pull out the date, the time and the title.
Confirmation is always yours
The proposal appears and waits. The event exists only once you tap to add it to the calendar. The assistant cannot write, change, delete or send anything by itself.
Where it is unsure about a date or a person it says so and lists what is missing, rather than inventing it.
What it knows about you
It gets the text you write, the language, the timezone and the names of your household members so it can attribute the right person. It does not get your calendar history or anything from other households. The text is not stored at the model provider and is not used for training.
Where its limits are
A language model can get a date or a person wrong. That is why confirmation is manual. For anything where a child's safety is involved, always check the proposal.

Does the assistant create events by itself?
No. It prepares a proposal and waits for your confirmation. Nothing is saved without it.
Does the model learn from what we write?
No. Text is sent with storage disabled, so it is not used for training.
