Cookie policy
Without your consent we store only what the service cannot work without — chiefly your sign-in. Traffic measurement starts only once you explicitly allow it.
What we store
| What | Purpose | Category | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sign-in cookie | Keeps you signed in between visits | Strictly necessary | Until sign-out or session expiry |
| Consent choice | Remembers your answer in the cookie banner | Strictly necessary | Until you clear site data |
| Selected household | Remembers which household you had open | Strictly necessary | Until you clear site data |
| Google Analytics | Anonymous website traffic measurement | Analytics — consent only | Per the service settings |
| Vercel Web Analytics | Traffic measurement without cookies | Nothing stored on the device | Nothing stored |
Analytics does not load without consent
Until you accept analytics cookies, the measurement script is not loaded and no request goes to the analytics provider. It is not merely a cookie left unset — the script is not on the page at all.
We send no member names, children's names, event titles or contact details into analytics. We measure the shape of behaviour — that an event was created or a task completed — and use a random account identifier to join sessions across devices, from which your identity cannot be derived.
Changing your choice
You can change your choice at any time by clearing site data in your browser; the banner will appear again on your next visit. Withdrawing consent has no effect on how the service works.
