How it works
Getting started takes a few minutes. Sign in with Google, create a household, invite the other adult and add your first event.
1. Sign in
Sign-in uses a Google account. You do not invent another password and we do not store one.
2. The household
A household is the family's shared space. One adult creates it and becomes its administrator. Everything else — events, tasks, shopping — belongs to it.
If somebody invited you, do not create a household. Open the invitation link and you join theirs.
3. Inviting the other adult
The administrator enters an email address and Kinally sends the invitation; the link is also shown for copying, in case they would rather send it another way. The link is valid for seven days and works once. If you fill in an email, only somebody signed in with that address can accept it.
4. Children's profiles
A child's profile is a name you can attach an event, a journey or a task to. Children have no account and do not sign in.
5. Your first event
You enter a title and a time, and right there also who takes the child and who collects them. If the club repeats weekly, tick recurrence and Kinally lays it out eight weeks ahead.
From that point both parents see the same version of the plan, without the messages asking whether you are picking up today.
Common questions
Do we both need a Google account?
Yes, sign-in currently works through Google only. We are considering other sign-in methods.
Can I belong to two households?
Yes. You switch between them in the menu. It helps with shared custody or when you help out in another family.
