Your data and rights

You can export your data and have it deleted at any time. Because this is a shared space, we also explain what happens to content the rest of the household still uses.

Exporting your data

The export returns your households, profiles, events, tasks and lists as machine-readable JSON. It covers the households you are a member of.

Leaving a household

When you leave, you lose access to it and your profile is detached from your account. Content the household continues to use — events, tasks, the shopping list — stays with its remaining members.

The last administrator cannot leave a household. Appoint another administrator first, otherwise the household would be left with nobody able to manage or delete it.

Deleting your account

Deleting your account removes your membership everywhere and detaches your profiles. Any household where you were the only remaining member is deleted in full, including its content.

We keep only a technical record that the erasure happened, with no personal data in it, so that we can evidence it.

Other members' data

Kinally is a shared space. We cannot delete content created by another member, or children's profiles the rest of the family still uses, on your request alone. Ask the household administrator for those.
